Jeff Schlageter, BSEE/MSEE, is Managing Director and Consulting Partner with
Global Brain, Inc. He has over 30 years experience in integrated
circuits, systems, software, and hardware development, along
with project management, advanced product development methodologies,
and spent almost 20 years as a vice president of engineering.
Jeff also has been the general manager of three businesses
of up to $200M in sales with over 200 professionals. His responsibilities
included profit and loss and organizations consisting of marketing,
applications, manufacturing, test operations, an assembly
site, engineering, CMOS process development, advanced development,
and a project office spread across 3 states.
Companies that Jeff has been employed by include Lucent (Ortel),
Cirrus Logic, Actel, Advanced Micro Devices, Standard Microsystems,
Fairchild Semiconductor, and General Electric. He has had
experience in technologies such as optical components, FPGAs,
ASICs, software, EDA Tools, memories, computer ICs, mixed
signal, System on Chip, Intellectual Property Cores, CMOS
process development, and magnetic storage.
Jeff has taught product development techniques for over
20 years, and has consulted for companies world wide since
2000 with Global Brain. Jeff teaches project management courses
at UC Santa Cruz Silicon Valley Extension and Stanford Continuing Studies.
Jeff has also been President of the IEEE Memory Standardization
Committee, has presented at the IEEE Solid States
Circuit Conference, written numerous articles, contributed
to a book, and has an architecture patent. Jeff has an office in San Jose, California and enjoys skiing, hiking, canoeing,
and golfing.

Orion ("Ori") Kopelman, author of Projects
at Warp-Speed with QRPD®: The Definitive Guidebook
to Quality Rapid Product Development, is President
of Global Brain, Inc., the founder of QRPD,
and one of America's leading product development experts.
He has helped many technology-driven companies world-wide
to significantly accelerate their projects and deliver products
in record time. Previously, Ori was Vice-President of Engineering
and division co-founder at Mountain Computer, a company which
grew from 50 to 500 people between 1984-1990, with 32 consecutively
profitable quarters.
An inventor and experienced project leader, Kopelman's enthusiasm
for quality and solid command of the product development cycle
have made him a much sought after lecturer. He served for
three years as Chairman of IEEE's Engineering Management Society
in Silicon Valley, and teaches QRPD at UC Berkeley
Extension and at project management conferences throughout
the United States. He earned his BSEE with distinction from
Stanford University.
He has been honored as an Outstanding Young Man of America,
Who's Who in America, and has published numerous papers and
articles on rapid product development. In 1997 he won a Small
Press Book Award for The 2nd Ten Commandments: Your Guide
to Success In the Consciousness Age, a book on how to
live a happier, healthier, less stressful, and more balanced
life in this highly technological age.
Ori was 1980 Michigan high school tennis doubles state champion,
and had a brief stint in college as a stand-up comedian. He
loves personal growth, scuba diving, hiking, and travel; speaks
Hebrew, German, and some French; and makes his home in Maui,
Hawaii.

Cinda Voegtli, BSEE/CS, is a consulting partner with Global
Brain, Inc. and co-author of Projects
at Warp-Speed With QRPD®: The Definitive Guidebook
to Quality Rapid Product Development. She is founder
and President of ProjectConnections.com,
an online resource created to educate and support project
managers just-in-time as they do their jobs. Cinda has over
22 years experience in hardware and software development,
engineering and project management, and product development
process improvement. Her experience spans a wide variety of
industries such as data and telecommunications systems, medical
devices, robotics and computer systems, software and information
systems, and virtual reality and game products.
Cinda has held director-level positions at high-technology
companies in Dallas, Los Angeles, and Silicon Valley. Most
recently she served as Vice-President of Knowledge Products
at Vite' Corporation, a company specializing in advanced simulation
software for project and portfolio management. She has also
held management positions with E-Systems, Cygnus Computer
Corporation, Timeplex Inc. and Unisys, and over her career
has managed projects in start-up, high-growth, and established
large corporate environments. Since 1992 she has provided
clients such as Mobil Oil, Hewlett Packard, Nellcor, and Schlumberger
with product development expertise focused on improving time-to-market.
Cinda has led workshops at companies across the country and
taught QRPD at UC Berkeley Extension. She is
a frequent speaker at project and engineering management conferences
around the world.
Cinda served as President of the worldwide Institute of Electrical
and Electronics Engineers' Engineering Management Society
for 2 years. She is the society's guest editor for special
issues of the IEEE Engineering Management Review on project
management, and is the author of a project management and
leadership program in use by volunteers around the world.
Cinda resides in Los Altos, California, and enjoys camping,
hiking, attending her daughter's gymnastics meets, and collecting
antique maps.

Konrad Knell is a consulting partner with Global Brain, Inc.
He has 14 years experience consulting to large global corporations
in strategy development and technology portfolio management.
He has directed the development of creative business strategies
and helped companies invest in new products and technologies
in many diverse industries, including hardware, telecommunications,
information systems & services, biotechnology, pharmaceuticals,
aircraft systems, consumer products, automotive, and oil &
gas. He was a partner at Strategic Decisions Group and now
heads his own strategy and development consulting practice.
Konrad also has four years experience managing technology
projects in the aerospace industry. Recently, he has been
focusing on training and coaching business leaders and groups.
He teaches strategic visioning, strategic implementation,
graphic facilitation, team building & dynamics, project
leadership, and personality frameworks such as MBTI and the
Enneagram. He also pioneers methods of bringing graphic facilitation,
collaborative group process, and leadership development into
strategic planning.
Konrad has earned a BA in Biology & Psychology from Harvard
University and an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of
Business. He loves outdoor sports of all kinds, travel, yoga,
and studying Eastern philosophy and Western psychology. He
makes his home in Marin County, California.

Pedro Rump, BSEE/MSEE, is a consulting partner with Global
Brain, Inc. He has over 20 years of experience leading the
development of hardware and software and has been a VP of
Engineering in both private and public companies in Silicon
Valley. Most recently he led teams in robust networking applications.
At Littlefeet, as VP of Engineering, he led the development
of a cellular infrastructure RF coverage system. Previously,
Pedro directed the engineering teams at SkyPilot, an 802.11
mesh networking company and Inviso, where he oversaw the development
of the company's innovative LCOS microdisplay system. Before
that he was VP of Engineering at Splash Technology, a provider
of digital imaging server solutions.
Earlier Pedro managed various hardware and software design
groups for ROLM, IBM and Siemens. He holds a MS and BS in
electrical engineering from the Swiss Federal Institute of
Technology.
Pedro resides in Palo Alto, California and is a licensed
pilot who enjoys high-altitude exploration of the Pacific
coast in his Cirrus airplane.
